The practice of keeping a diary

6.04.2026

Here, on the Neocities, I've discovered another non-obvious and interesting way to keep a diary. This method naturally follows from a static website, where a separate page is devoted to a separate topic. Once written, an article does not disappear over time, as happens on a blog, social network site, or messenger, but is gradually complemented by the author's new thoughts. If you do not rewrite the old article, but supplement the text below, marking it with the update date, then such a page turns into a diary, reflecting the transformation of perception and a change in opinion about the subject of discussion.
As a good example, I can cite the pages of Craig: https://57296.neocities.org/

What remains unclear is how to implement this idea in a paper diary. Should I paste the pages or leave a blank page for future comments?
